Ha ha, Eric Alterman rips Andrew Sullivan to shreds! It's not hard to do, but it's so enjoyable to read it done so well.

I'm sick this week so not writing much, but there are occasionally some jewels that I simply must share. Herewith one: this woman is now my hero.

Newsflash: the actual numbers do not back of Bernard Goldberg's charges of liberal bias in the media. How shocking!

Here's something fun: what was the number one song in the US and the UK on the day you were born?

And here's some good news: Burger King introduces veggie burger nationwide, even. Now if they would just go back to cooking their fries the old way. I know only one person who likes them the way they are now, and I have asked plenty of people. They have lost a ton of money from me over the last few years, as they were pretty much my favorite fast food before they made that change. I guess I should email them my comments. I'll see how the veggie burger is first I think. But even if I don't like it, it's a huge step forward to have that option available.

The Washington Post assigned that cretin Bruce Bawer to review David Brock's book despite a blatant conflict of interest or two. I hope they get deluged with angry mail about it. Go MWO!

Oh, and speaking of cretins, here's the ProJo's editorial about the Massachusetts marriage lawsuit. They actually wrote fairly well about the outcome of the Vermont case and the establishment of civil unions when those respective things happened, so I conclude that today's crap is largely the work of Edward Achorn. It has his smarmy and simpleminded signature. Hell yes I'll pay the marriage penalty, you moron! Must be nice to be the only game in town and never have to answer to anyone. Just like his nemesis Harwood, really, but he'd never admit it.
