Consequence Free |

As if there were not enough to be sad about: murder a gay man and get no prison time in Knoxville. I'm sure the cops and prosecutors worked extra hard to see that justice was served in this case. Real hard. Yes indeed.
Made a gallon of chamomile tea but haven't had any to drink yet. It was such a pain to make it that I end up feeling like I want to conserve it. Ditto with the Ativan (not that I make it, but I do want to conserve it.) Still, sleeping fitfully as the world continues to go mad. As in '91, am doing my best to avoid tv coverage, but I do read the news on Buzzflash, and that's plenty stressful. Feel like I can't really take a break--it's my work to follow it all and contribute when I can, on both the micro and macro level. I read the newspapers for your sins, I always tell my subscribers. We already know that the end of the world is nigh, but in case you had any doubts, here's proof, courtesy of a talking 20-pound carp. |
